Some wiring harness
protection issues can only be resolved by the use of
dedicated injection moulded parts.
Often these special
mouldings incorporate an interface for the connectors
being used together with a number of ‘T’
or ‘Y’ outlets joined together to form one
special manifold. Mounting clips and location points
can also be incorporated into the design.
Using the latest CAD
systems the Design and Development department at Schlemmer
has the capability to resolve complex cable management
issues through innovative design.
As well as giving an
aesthetically pleasing solution these special parts
can significantly reduce both the assembly time and
installation time of the harness assembly.

can be produced using a combination of special corrugated
or smooth tube, blow moulding and thermo forming techniques.
A variety of materials
including PA12, Low Density PE, ETFE and standard PP
can also be used in either multi layer or mono layer
form.
Working directly with
the OEM or system supplier the technical department
at Schlemmer are able to develop cost effective solutions
for many air and fluid tube applications.
