Harness Protection Systems

		Designed to route and protect vehicle wiring harnesses, thereby reducing the risk of electrical failure.

		The system includes a comprehensive range of convoluted tube together with an impressive selection of fittings designed to suit all harness applications.

		A range of multi-way connectors with individual wire seals and secondary locking enable modular harness systems to be manufactured.

		Interface adaptors allow various other connectors to be joined to the harness assembly preventing coloured wires from being seen and preventing wires from being damaged.

		All Schlemmer systems are light, flexible and are quickly assembled without the need for expensive tooling.

		Schlemmer products are manufactured in a number of materials and depending upon specific applications can be fully or partially sealed.

		All systems have many international and OEM approvals . They are also designed to comply with ADR/NFR standards.

		Protective Strips Designed for applications in cabins, doors, roof linings and ‘A’ posts this material is used to prevent cable abrasion and provide anti rattle protection. Manufactured from polyester, velour and PUR foam, the material is available in a variety of widths to suit different bundle diameters. Quick and easily applied, the Velcro fixing strip provides a secure mounting, without the need for specialist tools.

		High Temperature Conduit Manufactured from two different materials ETFE and PFA these products are designed for high temperature applications, up to 200ÞC and 250ÞC respectively. Suitable for under bonnet applications around turbo chargers or exhaust manifolds these materials are self-extinguishing and highly resistant to chemicals and oils.

		Windscreen Washer System Manufactured from small-bore conduit and a range of special purpose quick fit fittings this system can be easily tailored to suit different vehicle applications. The conduit tubing is specially profiled to prevent fluid foaming internally and its high flexibility prevents tube ‘kinking’ common with smooth profile tubes.

		3mm Diameter Conduit (NW3) Manufactured from both PA6 (Nylon) and PPMod materials this small-bore conduit is ideally suited for the protection of fibre optic or individual cables. Internal vibration of cables is kept to a minimum due to the small internal diameter.

		Self Latching Conduit This product combines the advantages of a solid conduit with the ease of assembly offered by a slit system. The patented latching mechanism prevents conduit gaping as well as providing protection against water splashes and the ingress of dust. Specialised application tools allow quick assembly times to be achieved in one action.

		Overlapping Conduit Similar to a slit conduit this product has the added advantage of being overlapped when in the closed position to prevent gaping problems, water splashes and dust ingress. Produced in normal profile form the internal diameter is maximised for any given O.D. The unique profile of the overlap feature allows this product to be used with the vast range of Schlemmer fittings and accessories. Specialised application tools allow quick assembly times to be achieved and additional cables are easily inserted.

		Oval Section Conduit For applications on a vehicle where space restrictions prevent the use of a conventional conduit such as along floors or in cab areas and congested under bonnet applications. Available in a range of sizes and supplied to customers pre-cut length requirements this product is ideally suited for the protection of ribbon cables.
