Autotechnik Systems who were established in 1996 are located in Redditch, Worcestershire, where they operate from their modern offices and distribution centre.

The products supplied by Autotechnik Systems centre principally around the Schlemmer conduit range which is suitable for providing protection to the electrical system on all types of vehicle applications from passenger car manufacturers to truck and heavy equipment manufacturers. Their products can also be used for a number of industrial, rail and marine applications. Products are supplied either to wiring harness manufacturers or directly to the OEM’s themselves.

Autotechnik Systems have an intimate knowledge of the Schlemmer product range and its applications, with considerable years of experience working in the UK automotive industry. Their direct sales staff are both technically and commercially competent allowing a hands-on approach to serve customers specific needs from conceptual design to production. This is backed up by a friendly internal sales team who are able to provide a rapid response to satisfy customers’ requirements.

Schlemmer, who are based in Poing Germany, close to Munich, have a program of continuous product development and work very closely with its customers to ensure new products are released into the market place seamlessly. Product certification to customers own specifications are regularly achieved and they are also certified to ISO 9001,ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949. Many products are approved to various international standards such as UL, TUV , LCIE and they can also offer systems which are approved to ADR/GGVS applications. Autotechnik Systems are also certified to BS ISO EN 9001:2000 in their own right.

In addition to supplying Schlemmer products, the company is continually adding complimentary products to its portfolio ensuring it remains a complete system supplier to the industry. Recent additions include Thin Wall Automotive cable, twin and multicore cable, sleeving, battery terminals and battery master switches..
